Revolutionising mixing: Izotope goes first, but MeldaProduction later and better?

@Vojtech, I agree. That is why I own a number of your plugins and none of Isotope

How about adding a HP, LP and peak filter to Mmultianalyzer. That would allow people to get somewhat similar results to this and it wouldn't clutter things too much. It would be a good first plugin in your chain. I often use Mbandpass as the first plugin in my chain to cut low rumble, so MMA could serve the same purpose, but with the ability to cut 1 frequency in the middle and see what the conflict is.
Or maybe MUnmasker. All the features above, but with the MAutoeq feature that will eq automatically based collisions(of course with a user defined collision threshold control). I'd certainly be interested in something like that.

i would like to see a cross between MMultiAnalyzer and MAutoDynamicEQ so all this work can be done with one plugin only, like Neutron does.
it would ease and speed up the workflow a lot methink.

Neutron is out and what should I say not bad! The track assistant feature is cool and a great starting point.
Gui is top notch, sorry to say.
Workflow is awesome, something I miss on mturbomix. And this one is flexible enough. great, fast results.
Test it for your own, but so far I like or love it.

Well, just did
and guess what
... No revolution here I'm afraid, it's just a channel strip with very few features, that looks cool (sort of dark for my taste, but no biggie, I'm not a hater
). I sort of admire the attempt to clasify tracks, but sadly it doesn't seem to work, well, almost not at all... I tried it on several tracks, and it's success rate was below 50%, which is very bad considering it has only 5 instrument types. The track assistant does something, but it didn't do anything interesting on the tracks I tried it on... I'm not surprised, it has just the most basic modules, so no miracles are really possible there I think. It can definitely be good if you like the workflow - just have a few simple modules in one, classic izotope.
Anyways Svama, from the first moment I remember you, you always come here with the exact same thing - you want a very simple plugin with lots of features, and ideally something that does the job for you
. Izotope stuff will definitely be "yes" for the very simple plugin, and definitely a no for the rest of it. Melda stuff is the opposite
. Seems like you need Melzotope!

I would be so happy, if you will do it!
You're right, I'm loving these types of plugins. And maybe it's only a channel strip, but do you really need more? The results are not good everytime, but you can tweak to your taste and it's still a faster workflow and I'm happy with it. At the end all you need is an Eq and a comp. That's it and not thousand knobs to tweak for hours and hours with no result at the end.
But I stay tuned for your mixing revolution.

Actually not really, so far it was about gathering technology. Then it will be just one plugin, well, I hope...

I for one want more than just an EQ and a compressor. Of course many times that is all you need, but there are times I need more and I'd rather have what I need there than have to search through my plugin folder for it. Everyone is different of course, but I don't want to pay for simple. I want power and melda devlivers that at a cheaper price than companies like Izotope IMO. The GUIs are fine for me and even if they weren't for me these are tools. I don't really care what color my screwdriver or my hammer is as long as it works well.

I'm hoping for something like spectral dynamics but one that is aware of other instances. You'd get some sort of master control where they'd all communicate.

the Track Assistant is interesting but what i liked the most about this new plugin was the ability to detect and fix frequency collisions/masking inside one window.MeldaProduction wrote:Well, just didand guess what

before i would need 3 windows to get the job done, one for the analyzer and two windows for the EQs, for the kick drum and bass, for example.
