Final product now what?

I'm using Tracktion 6 for a week now. I recorded all my tracks (midi and audio) and I'm happy with the result. Is there any feature on Tracktion 6 to save this final product as a MP3 or as a wav file or much better to just record it (burn it) as a song into a cd? Thanks and excuse my ignorance.

Under the Export button, choose Render to a file... then select the parameters you want.

If you want MP3, you have to get the LAME (MP3) encoder on your system.

Could be, it probably depends if Tracktion needs only the lame .dll or also the .exe file. You should point Tracktion to those file(s) somewhere in the options/preferences first of course.wenper wrote:Is that Lame encoder the same one we use for Audacity?

I've just checked this. It is the lame.exe it wants, and you can browse to it on the General Behaviour tab under Settings. It's called LAME Location and is about halfway down if you haven't scrolled. I've checked it by rendering a track to an MP3 file. I have two different lame.exe files on my PC (I added the 475,648 bytes one in the LAME for Audacity folder (in Program Files (x86)) to T7, leaving the 559,104 one aside), but one doesn't appear to have any version number details, and the assorted file dates are not consistent enough to tell me which is the more recent.

If it's any help, when I did my first export to mp3, Tracktion simply threw up a dialog asking me if I wanted to instal Lame. After hitting OK, Tracktion took care of the rest of the details, and Lame was automagically installed.
