MDrummer on sale, do I need it for Synthdrums, while I can run MXXX with the Powersynth?

I'm thinking about getting MDrummer (/or Fxpansion Tremor) for a long time now... Can I do all the synthstuff from Mdrummer inside MXXX with Powersynth too? Then I would rather build Drum-Kits in MXXX as I wouldn't use Mdrummer for sampled Drums anyway...
Any experiences?
thanks

While synthesizing drums in MPS is a good experience I find it even easier in MDrummer. There are also more things it can do that MPS cannot.mccy wrote:I'm thinking about getting MDrummer (/or Fxpansion Tremor) for a long time now... It has a sampler so you can layer with your synth drums.
The drum synth is simple but effective and very fast to work with.
The SubSampleSynthesizer is my favourite though. You can drag and drop up to 50 samples in it and it will split them into frequency bands and randomizes which sample is played in which band. Basically it is a great way to get new random samples from existing samples.
Also there might be some EDM content coming for it soon

Agree! MDrummer is dedicated to drums and even if you are not interested in the rhythm engine, the synthesis modules etc. are still far more dedicated to drums than MPowerSynth is.

Tested MDrummer & Tremor & I was impressed by the living Sound of tremor but mainly for the bass drums... with its Filter & Drive Options & the nice bus compressor. As I own Cypher & the whole Synthsquad I can do that sounds allready in the synths. I think I save up for something still to come as it does not convince me all the way. & maybe you got me with MDrummers Sample-Engine, cause it is really nice for a a fast workflow.
Finally I hate that Installation limitation and online activation shit with fxpansion although they allways have been very fair with that procedure. I want to use software directly on all my computers.
+ MDrummer adds something which is really new to me with the sub sample oscillator... so I'm really tempted to buy

One last question.... After another 30 minutes of playing it starts rolling, its damn sexy with these inspiring layers, so give me that last YES I WILL BUY with this:
How can I modulate the Filter (called Band-pass) in MSynthesizer 4NN with an Envelope inside the Synth? Can I generate more Envelopes?

There are no modulations inside the plugin itself, so if you want some modulated filter, you have to do it externally. As for MSynthesizer4NN, there are curves for all kinds of stuff, nothing is hidden though. And it doesn't work like envelopes assigned to something, there is a dedicated envelope for many parameters, if there isn't, no wat to change that I'm afraid.
MBassador will be added in the forthcoming update. MTurboComp and MTurboEQ won't be added, technical reasons, sad story...
