Well, the problem is fairly clear.
All of the Melda plugins have a MIDI input and stereo output, so we are interpreting these as "instruments". Oops. We'll fix that.

I have tried everything now...but Mbassador definitifely is 'not available' under the plugins in the mixer strip.
I'm on 3.6.0 of Mixbus32C. The blacklist has been flushed.
I rescanned all plugins and: Mbassador is scanned as well visibly like all the others. But it still doesn't show up in the Mixer to be choosen.
I have activated to show all (hidden/instruments/analysers) - but the mentioned plugins don't show. On win7/64bit.
Newest version of MeldaPlugins installed.
I just wonder as well, why all the other Meldas are showing in 32C without a twitch. I also got a crash of the ardour vstplugin scanner.
Ben, can we switch computers?
hehe

Very last update...in case someone is still be interested:
I could verify now that under Windows10 64bit, vst3 plugins only - I found the same few plugins not to be showing up in Mixbus32c. All others do well there.
See ya.

On my system, Melda MXXX and MBassador take significantly longer to "scan" than other plugins. I've noticed this on Mixbus and also tested on Reaper.
Mixbus has a "timeout" slider in the VST scan dialog; you can extend this longer than 1min and it might improve the detection of MXXX and MBassador.
We've fixed the issues with Melda plugins on a "mono" channel, and this fix will be in the upcoming Mixbus v3.7 update.
Best,
-Ben

Hmmm, I just rescanned all stuff in Reaper, it's all superfast compared to any other plugin on the market I checked. It's like 20 plugins per second (just guessing, too fast to count
). How long does it take on your computer?

I have used 2min scantime. Mxxx was fast on my systems Win7 and 10 (under the minute).
All those other Melda plugins I have mentioned some posts ago (where MBassador is of them) are shown to be scanned in the scanner window (even with 1minute timing), but they won't show up, where you can choose them in the mixer (showing all plugins, including the hidden).
Now I have rescanned in windows7 with 5 Minute (maximum) scan timing.
Same behavior - no Mbassador or the other missing ones.
The scantime for mbassador in the scanwindow is slower indeed...about a third of a second.
But it never shows up in the plugin list, I also more than once flashed the blacklist and cache before scanning again (I included showing all hidden/instruments/analysers). I searched the list and searched via manual input into the search field: the only thing appearing is MBandpass, when typing "mba". Nothing else. The other missing plugins are confirmed ti be missing on win 10 also.
It could be that mbassador isn't scanned at the next program start. It only gets scanned at manual scan after flushing the blacklist. Because the slow scan is missing at program start of 32C.
That's all I can say. I hope that helps to find a culprit.

Just to add to make sure MXXX was never problematic and always usable in 32C. No problem with that one
Only Mbassador and the other plugins mentioned in my list.

You can actually upload a screenshot here directly - it's not exactly straightforward though
. Click the full editor and there's something with attachements and stuff
.
Anyways there's a slider for timing for the whole scan?? Why?
I mean one person installs 2 plugins altogether, another one has 200
. Did you see MBassador being scanned? Could you try Reaper for instance? (so we can rule out the possibility that there's something wrong with the plugin)

I have Studio one and no problems with any of your plugins there. Scan is fast with all of them.
I have no reaper. And the timing is to keep 32C as fast as possible, so one can exclude to scan too slow plugins for faster starts I think.
Trying the screenshot:

Yay posting images worked
The left arrow means: mxxx is there and working correctly.
Right arrow: mbassador doesn't show up at any place in the list. It's alphabetically ordered, and I additionally searched through the list completely.

JUST IN CASE anybody still care at Harrison: in the newest Version v3.7 - the problem with MBassador still persists. Had an Ardour crash at Mixbus start. The formerly mentioned plugins are not appearing in the list after Scanning and restarting the application.
That's the last time I'm caring for this thread or any mixbus error!
