Ok so can anyone help me with setting up tracktion with sonivox vocalizer pro. from what i understand it requires routing the audio track to the midi so you are able to play a live recording. but because of the way tracktion deals with assigning inputs to track tracks i can only get audio played through it if i have a recorded sample on a track set to my oxygen keyboard. i cannot hear nor record my voice through vocalizer pro at all.
Help little old me =(

You can't route audio into MIDI, it makes no sense. What you're doing it routing audio into the VST that is being controlled by MIDI.
It should work if you set your audio track's output to the track that contains Vocalizer.
Click on the trackname of your audio track and have a look in the bottom panel where it says "Default audio output". Change that whichever track contains the Vocalizer plugin. That should now route the audio into Vocalizer and still allow you send MIDI data into it on that same track.
Track 1 -> <your audio recording> -> Output = Track 2
Track 2 -> <your MIDI stuff> -> Vocalizer -> Output Default audio output
