I found no use for this folder and for me it's only eating valuable space in preset browser.
Is there any way to turn off auto creation of midi programs?

I've never had reason to use the Midi Programs folder, but I don't play live anymore. I remember though, how very handy the ability to step through a predetermined series of presets using a footswitch was on my Memorymoog. I always wished my other hardware had that feature, and I think it would be equally handy, perhaps more so, in a softsynth.

We auto-create the folder so people will find it easily when they need it.
We can probably hide it from the patch browser, say, by adding a preference for that.
