So where is the absolute cheapest place to upgrade an iZtope Advanced product to the Music Production Bundle 2?

Thanks Uncle E. You really are like a good uncle.Uncle E wrote:Spire, Neutron, and Music Production Bundle 2.Rational wrote:Uncle E,
Was that big news the Spire discount? Or is there still something else about to drop?
The Powermate is a great feeling controller that looks amazing on your desk. I used it around 10 years ago with the old software, it didn't have fine enough resolution for serious plugin control back then but I understand that the current software fixed that. I've read that you should avoid the bluetooth version. And anyone checked out the Griffin products? Noticed them being used in the latest Neutron video and am curious if anyone has used the griffin powermate usb or bluetooth for audio editing and other PC tasks? Looks cool.
It's back on sale for $194 in cart and you can be sure it'll go even lower eventually:And was I crazy to let the deal on the McDSP 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip pass by for $173 last week? Will I be regretting that for a while to come? Does McDSP not do sales very often? Only intro pricing? Or will another sale by them come along do you think?

Yeah, I'd read the same thing about the bluetooth version of the powermate. Not so great. USB version is better. I may grab one eventually. Looks cool and might help with scrolling web pages and audio edits. I still have my Tascam Fireone for scrolling as the driver still works on a Mac. Get one if you can. Tascam dropped driver support for Windows long ago, so no way to get it to work nowadays on MS. But on a Mac it is a great jog wheel! High quality and the lights are cool too. Interface part all works too if you want and the transport controls too. Even has F1-F8 right there along with level meters, 2 headphone outputs, guitar in, yada yada. Firewire though. But powered via FW. Great controller for scrolling at least.
Yeah, I skipped the 6050 ultimate channel strip. For some reason I just wasn't feeling it. Everyone raves about it, but maybe that is because they love the owner and support him? It's nice of course. I dunno though, maybe the oldschool graphics are turning me off a bit. Someone sell me on this. Tell me why I'm missing out. Because to me the workflow is old school compared to something like Neutron. It's nice having a lot of compressors and EQ's side by side to quickly switch between. Love the rack concept like Slate's VMR. But... maybe for a bit less than $173 I'd be interested. Thanks Unc for looking out for me. I appreciate the input.

Here. With no VAT. Cheapest I've found. (Sorry Uncle E. Unless you are price matching?)MogwaiBoy wrote:So where is the absolute cheapest place to upgrade an iZtope Advanced product to the Music Production Bundle 2?
There's actually 2 different versions on offer. One from Adv, the other from MPB1.
From Adv:

From MPB1:
http://www.timespace.com/product/MPB2XM ... ad%29.html
Both the same price. So be careful. Seems to me the Adv would allow you to keep all the other licenses.

Reminder for people with pluginboutique.com reward tokens - you should be able to exchange 1 token for 65% discount off the UVI Vintage Legends six-synth bundle (827 presets, 32,049 samples) in the rewards+ section of your account - making it £63 (circa $80) for the whole lot instead of the usual £180:

Anyone know if the izotope music production bundle 2 comes as separate SN like MPB1? I own part of MPB2 because I own MPB1 and was wondering if I can sell my duplicate licenses?

I think i read here that MPB2 comes as one serial, no single serials anymore. Maybe someone can confirm? Thank you in advance!LGK_Dude wrote:Anyone know if the izotope music production bundle 2 comes as separate SN like MPB1? to be honest, yes, I think you could sell duplicate licenses, at least that's whay I am planning to do...

Can you say if there will be a sale on bundles like Special Edition Vol. 2 this year?
Thank you!

You can sell dublicate licensies. But if you have upgraded a product, you have to sell (if you are selling) always the latest version of that product you own. E.g. if you have upgraded your MPB1 to MPB2, you can't sell any of your MPB1 product if you don't sell the MPB2, too.autodafe wrote:just one serial, that's whaty I got. That's what the iZotope transfer policy says, anyway. If there's a new interpretation which is valid, let us know.
