There is a new MuLab 7.1.25 for both Mac and Windows in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/

How to install: See the Read Me.txt in that webfolder.

What's changed:
  • Sequence editor: Playing the piano keyboard at the left-side can be recorded now.
  • Sequence editor: Right-click piano keyboard -> extra option to directly edit the key name (if the respective target module supports key names)
  • Edit note key names: The key field now has previous/next buttons for more editing comfort.
  • Mac version: Fixed a possible "won't launch" problem when multiple system drives were mounted.
The new module i was working on won't make it in M7.1, it will be for a next version eg M7.2. The main reason is because currently there is a bit of a Mac version gap on mutools.com and i want to clear that gap asap.

This M7.1.25 is regarded as a release candidate.
If you would encounter anything odd, pls let me know.

Cheers!

Yes, but it was not clear to me which keyboard. Now I realized that probably you referred to the left-side keyboard in the pianoroll.

Post

Ah sorry didn't realize that was not clear, yes you're right it should say "piano keyboard at the left" that's much more clear. Edited that post. Thx.

Speedrum 2 is a hidden gem. 8)

No i cannot be switched on/off. If the VST tells MuLab that, for example, C4 = Kick, then MuLab accepts that. Can't you switch it off in TX16Wx?

This update fixes a couple of issues with the MFO "Insert Multiple Sample Grains" function.

There is a new MuLab 7.1.28 for both Mac and Windows in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/

How to install: See the Read Me.txt in that webfolder.

This update improves window focusing on Mac and fixes a crash bug when using extreme long sample grains in the MFO.

VST windows can still get so far north that they can no longer be moved, minimized etc. because their title bar is completely off the monitor.

Thanks for the other fixes and improvement, even though I haven't come across those bugs myself, yet :)

Well, I use the big GUI of my synth, which fills most of the screen. So I sometimes have to move it about in order to see the transport bar or the mixer. And occasionally the GUI moves too far to the top or the bottom. The title bar of an open VST windows should never move out of sight, neither at the top, nor at the bottom.

Maybe a solution would be to make the little arrow symbols of the rack slots not only display VST GUI's, but do so in the center of the screen, (maybe by right-clicking the arrow, or keeping Shift or Control pressed while clicking).

I noticed a possible bug:
When I save and load Predator patches via Mulab's patch manager, some settings such as voice mode, pitch bend range and certain effect on/off statuses don't seem to get loaded correctly. When I use the synth's internal patch manager for saving and loading, everything seems to be OK.
So, does Mulab lose parameters, is the number of parameters too high?
Did some more tests, seems the settings are correct, but the wrong values are displayed in Predator. So I am not sure whether it is a Mulab or Predator issue...

I assume this is a Predator issue, pls also ask the question in the Predator support forum.
