Sorry for the rather dumb question. I cannot find anywhere what Mac OS
is the minimum going forward with 7.1.28 Only mention of carbon-cocoa, I was looking to buy MuLab but if the new versions won't work with 10.6.8 than it is a no-go for me.
I am very settled at OS X 10.6.8 because many of the plugins that I need won't work with newer OS''s. Mac has become a nightmare for developers
and many "old school" electronic musicians too. Thanks for your time,

It works on 10.6.8, I'm on it too, not an MuLab power user tho, just an friend who likes to hang out on the forum and help out. 
Think some of the old 32 bit plugins are affected with new 64 bit rewrite, but app works great on 10.6.8, give it a go and see how it works out for you with your particular setup.
If I were to settle with MuLab, would definitely use it on Windows PC, so much more plugins and options.

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

Yes indeed the minimum MacOS version for the new MuLab 7.1 is MacOS 10.6.8. I did special effort to keep MacOS 10.6.8 in the MuLab 7.1 compatibility zone as MacOS 10.6.8 indeed is an important version.
