Ok here are some sounds. They are not recreations from the Virus, I just made them from scratch. All sound except the last, are using the arpeggiator to create melodies, so I am just holding one key down.

It really does, maybe not at 100% but good enough.

BTW, there are the Virus wavetables available on the net, someone extracted them for use in Serum some time ago, just do a Google search, and you will find those. Don't get me wrong, i am not saying that they should be implemented, or that anything illegitimate should be done, just for the peeps who are interested to implement them when Viper is actually available (i think the use of them is not illegal, as there is no copyright on wave files, or similar, correct me if i'm wrong).
I'm not 100% sure that the format is also loadable in Viper too,but being .wav, should be, i guess.

Viper won't have wavetable ocillators, at least when released. It will load single cycles but it is not the same thing.

To clear things up, wave table is when you have lots of waves in a file and you are able to scan and morph between them. Viper will initially have a wave reader in the classic osc, so you can select a single cycle waveform. You can drop your own single cycle waveforms in wav format, and you can use them in Viper, so nothing is stopping you from using waveforms from other sources, as long as they are in wav, and a single cycle.

Even though they can't be included with the plugin itself, users could possibly find sampled or resynthesized versions of the single cycle spectral waves the Virus has had since long before the TI and recreate sounds from the B/C that require them.

I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil
