Wow - will buy soon
What we need now is to combine Fault and Sandman into one huge modular fx beast.

How can I try the demo? It's automatically disabled and silent. The window to activate it with a licence is available, but still no way to try the demo... ?

Sorry for the confusion! Open the license window, then sign in to your Plugin Alliance account. If you don't have a valid license, it should offer to activate a trial license for you right after you sign in.Neon Breath wrote:How can I try the demo? It's automatically disabled and silent. Amazing work, you guys really know how to step up
your game. Considering that your game was pretty awesome before...
Any status on the updates you mentioned as going through QA a
while back?
-Cheers

Yep! I think all of them have been pushed to January on the PA release schedule for a number of reasons.pekbro wrote:Amazing work, you guys really know how to step up

The big reason is that a number of users are experiencing OpenGL issues, and our interfaces are turning up black on their computers. At first, we thought that all computers could be fixed by simply updating drivers, but there have now been a significant number of computers where the manufacturer never bothered updating the available graphics drivers. So, the next round of updates *needs* this fix.
We're also updating the modulation system on all of the modular plug-ins (Fault, Dent, Indent, and Sandman Pro). We want to add:
-Resets to every LFO
-LFO phase control (either per-LFO or per-output, depending on how much programming magic we can work).
-Envelopes
-MIDI In
-Sidechain switch for Input Follower (hopefully!)
-Step sequencer
-Dent/Indent have something like four new distortion/saturation modes. We may add more now that we have an extension.
-Fault has an optional input HP filter to reduce high frequency aliasing when down-shifting (If you're experiencing issues on your material, plop an EQ before Fault and manipulate the low-cut control).
The original Sandman's 1.3 update is finished, but the OpenGL fix needs to be added now. Sandman didn't originally need OpenGL, but the 1.3 update adds it as part of our new UA code library. So, it'd suck if a user downloads the patch only to find that it breaks their interface.
G8 1.5 is coming along as well, and should be out around the same time. We were facing a few JUCE bugs and most of them are fixed.
We have a meeting with the Brainworx QA team on Thursday, so we should have better estimates then.

Fun plugin, thank you! I'm using REAPER 5.26 x64 on Win7. Tooltips do not appear properly, only flash on for a microsecond. Sandman 1 tooltips do work for me.

Thanks for the report! Is this VST or VST3? We had a number of VST3 rendering oddities pop up in REAPER 5.24/5.25, but the known ones were fixed in 5.26.ericzang wrote:Fun plugin, thank you! Also, modulation applied to Pitch Shifter and Glitch Shifter's pitch controls has no effect for me. The graphics move but no modulation is heard.
Thanks

Oh, wow! Somehow this evaded testing. We'll work on a hotfix ASAP.ericzang wrote:VST2thelizard wrote: Thanks for the report! Is this VST or VST3?

I have the same tooltip-problem in Reaper 4.78 (vst2, 32bit) on Win7 64-bit.
Besides that, it's an awesome plugin!
