Please can someone explain in simle terms the purpose of a Rack Filter. I gather it solves a routing issue, but I can't find any reference to it in the Help.

Thanks in advance.

It all depends. Some racks are decorative, but others are purely functional.

Umm... I did some research on junction filters. They're very nice indeed, but I won't be posting any pictures. :hihi:

Now I'm completely confused!! :?

Which is the input, and which is the output?

And most importantly: where are the dry/wet controls?

Mackie built this especially for that

So........ should I be getting pleasure from using a rack filter? :?

Is the best thing to connect my output to my input?

What can you do with Big Knob?

Post

If I don't have a Big Knob, will I not be able to get full use of Rack Filters? :-o

Post

Sorry, but I've yet to see Mackie's mediocre knob, or wee knob. It may come out with V2, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. or anything else for that matter.
