Hi,

Audio parts can have snap markers:
> Audio parts can also have a snap marker. A snap marker makes it easy to align a specific audio cue point to the grid.

I'm after something a little different. When working on a large project, I sometimes want to zoom right in at a certain point in time and say "OK, I want to align various things *here*". To do this, I want to right-click the time line, add a marker (as can be done already) and then - the new bit - set the part snap to "To Marker" so that I can align various parts to that marker (rather than any other grid division).

Ideally, I'd be able to set that time line marker even when editing an audio or sequence part. The marker could then be "attached" either to the part (so it appeared *on the time line* at the same position relative to the start of the part each time the part appeared) or to the composition (i.e. as per an existing time line marker).

This would be a useful work flow enhancement when working with larger audio parts from other sources that need careful handling to get them "right" inside MuLab.

Standard FR disclaimer: no rush :).

That's already on the wishlist indeed, ie adding the option to also snap parts to markers.
About the 2nd part of your FR: I'm not sure if i fully understand it, but i've the feeling that it is beyond the scope of MuLab's possible complexity. I mean, i'll do my best to add everything necessary but i will have to draw limits wrt the one dev context, as long as that's the reality.
