I haven't installed it yet but it seems to be a light version of BIAS FX Desktop.
Yes, it is not a full version. It isn't a demo, but it is very limited compared to either of the full commercial versions. Still an excellent freebie. But what you bought has far more.

I guess there isn't an official LE version so they only list Desktop and Pro on the site.

If you check the App Information in Settings after unlocking it you'll see the Licence Tier is Lite.

Not interested really. Sticking to AmpliTube 4.

+1

The LE version only comes with 6 FX boxes, the full version got 60, so it is like only 10% of the full version, a rather skimpy LE version.

It is almost as anemic as the recent Beat version of TH-3 :(

OSX/Win: Slam Dawg by Beatskillz
Win: Dancida by Cubic Audio
OSX: Extremum by Sinevibes

So no third party sample package this month, but an extra plug
There is also "Extremum by Sinevibes Acoustic guitar, bass & drum loops" it jumped to the left side of the page so it's easy to miss. All this is well worth the 2 bucks this month, i'm gonna bite.
Dancida is a bit of a joke though, a SynthMaker synth from 2009. GUI is now painfully small. There is better freeware than that around these days.

A shame the Sinevibes multi FX aint also available on Windows

As long as they offer at least one usable product for little money it's okay for me. You are right Dancida is.. well.. :D

Yeah, I will not quit my sub because of Dancida, Slam Dawg makes up for it, but next time the OSX user can get the tiny SynthMaker plug from 2009 :D

Would be only fair?! :D

urm, did you not see last months good bag? we got this email from trackspark shortly after:
Firstly, we want to apologise to Mac users for having a windows only plugin in this month's goody bag. There was originally going to be a Mac OS X only product as well and we assure you we'll make up for it soon.

Remind me, what was the Win only plug last month?

Oh yeah, I remember now

But I don't think Exciter LC + Dancida equals Extremus. That is Win 0 - OSX 1

Both those Win plugs are just 32 bit, many Win users will find them unusable because of that, not to mention they both feature painfully small GUI's

I think TrackSpark next time around has something to make up to the Win users.

Post

it's $3 a pop - cut them a bit of slack! :)

Post

I have cut them a bit of slack from the beginning. I signed up from the start.

Still the best and most usable plug (to me), is the Valve VF-1 filter that they used to showcase TrackSpark last year, which made me sign up from the start in the first place.

So next time TrackSpark, also make up some lost ground to the 64 bit Win users
