What did you use to do the diagrams in the manual?

Oh so cool! It sounds gorgeous!
little drawback: now I hear all the noise going on at high resonance in ACE filters
I guess I will have to be careful with this.

Woah!
That Jaw(s) can bite quite hard. The most brutal sounds out of a single synth.
The resonance on this thing is awesome....i would say the best i heard yet.
Damn, today is my birthday and i think i´m going to buy it for me

It can be used creatively... I've done a few funky cello type sounds by using Tone as a bow, i.e. fade the sound in and out.david.beholder wrote:Looks like Drench Tone Knob kills reverb in leftmost and rightmost positions completely. I think it's a bug.
Osc2 in Lo Freq has the whole sonic range on the semitones knob. Should go very low to very high. Should have been called "wide" instead of "lo".Also, OSC2 in LO FREQ mode with KB OFF mode is too fast, but I'm not sure how was it on Pro-1.
That's insane instrument, frankly. Great job.

You could try... but ask the support guys first.Elektronisch wrote:would buying The Dark Zebra qualify me of getting repro ?

It's an option we're still investigating. We actually had a version in-house that works as synth with multiple ins and outs. We used it to interface Repro-1 with a Eurorack modular synth. However, it's been a rough ride because all DAWs tend to handle this differently. This feature alone would have cost us weeks to get right, if one can get there at all, so we left it aside. Hence, we do not know yet if we get it done, and if it meets our standards.hivkorn wrote:Hey Urs , do you plain to release the FX of Repro-1 as VST fx ?
(I think I mentioned it in the "need to know" section of the first post)

O.K. i have to say something more....i thought first meh, another boring emulation of a mono synth
But hell, this thing is the best sounding synth i ever heard. Especially with this awesome sequencer and the added FX.
I started with a patch i liked and tweaked it and then it was there......i hit a key and got instant gosebumps.
to U-he.
The price tag for the intro is a gift too.
The CPU usage is not too high i think.
I was able to create a poly patch (via midi channel splitting and playing it with a Seaboard Rise).....it almost crack time and space here and opened a new dimension

i realy like repro very much. My repro-alpha presets sound very different in the beta version, like it is tuned one octave down with an other amp-adsr, what have i to switch to match the alpha sound in beta version ?
Is there a chance to enhance the two mod matrix into four, so that we can use lfo, velocitiy, aftertouch and modwheel simultaniously ?

Just continue to use the Alpha - so much has changed, I don't think they can sound 100% the same for most patches.sacer wrote:i realy like repro very much. We'll see. For now I want this to concentrate on being "that emulation" of that synth. If we add too much, it'll divert from that goal.Is there a chance to enhance the two mod matrix into four, so that we can use lfo, velocitiy, aftertouch and modwheel simultaniously ?
I think I also want people to feel the restrictions within that synth. It's not a be all end all synth, it's the synth that did this or that in this or that way. And then you can listen to Yazoo and think, hmm, yep, that's why it sounds like that. In other words, I want to share what this synth meant to me.
Once I'm over that we can tentatively discuss additions

Any idea when the public beta period will finish and the price goes up?
It will take me some time to save up for this, the pound is devaluing quicker than my savings are going up at the moment.

Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.
