What's important for me, as I am one of the "lucky guys" that got RePro-1 for free, because I actually bought all your plugins + some soundsets and I am and only will use Linux, is to make sure my "investment" is safe, e.g. you guys not dropping Linux support at some point.
If that means I need to invest some extra time to do alpha or beta testing and help supporting others (on Linux), you can count me in

We're also not dropping our investment anytime soon.

Apart from direct customer support, worst thing that can happen is that we have to wait a bit longer until something is fixed that breaks Linux builds on our build server. This might have to be done by a freelancer and not a full time employee.

How to stop a Patch that uses Sequencer "always" from playing? "ALL NOTE OFF" does not seem to have an effect.

Always is always... that's why we added the only keyed option.

What an odd assumption. I, and probably a sizeable host
of the kvr userbase missed out on 80's/90's hardware synths,
and this reproduction is so detailed, and sounds so fine,
that a great curiosity has got me downloading the pdf.
And the user comments from from actual Pro One owners,
and various local synth experts feed that all the more.
I'm counting on the manual transforming what to me are buzzwords,
into enough applied music technology, that I might even try to fold some waves in a few days, (whatever that is!)
if I don't run out of coffee

Speaking of which, pages 9 and 16 of the manual are pretty special,
maybe they could be added as addendums in horizontal mode,
scaled down a bit? PDF viewers zoom pages a lot easier than
they rotate them

Still, being able to stop it from playing would be nice when composing or working on a patch and that is not the same as the "on key" option.

I messed around a little bit trying to recreate some of the Repro-1 presets in Diva to better build an understanding of how exactly things differ. It's not a perfect match, but I think I got pretty close on the

"1 Solo Trumpet" and "10 Sync"

The purpose is of course to understand if there's any more "balls", and where those then are.

Apart from the apparent difference in FX, the sequencer and the mod routing - what are these balls scientifically speaking?

That said - JAWS alone is a big selling point. That one is truly awesome. I would not hesitate to buy it standalone.

The devil is in the details. What you're doing is like comparing two different guitars by playing single note on both. There won't be hell of a difference even between a very cheap and very expensive models. A pluck of a string will sound guitar-ish on both. Talking about synths like Diva and Repro-1 it is all about the character of the oscillators, filters, envelopes and how they all perform together in different situations. The combination of all these features is what makes each instrument so unique. Try to recreate more dynamic and complex patches and you'll be amazed how different they sound.
