Just an idea, same as MuVerb previously, that could make lot of justified buzz, maybe new OneSynthChallenge, just in time for MuX Mac.

Besides that, would imagine MuSynth becoming something like new Synth1 - ultimate freebie all rounder, with tons of people doing presets/patches/banks, quite an win win move.

Imagine YouTube flooded with videos like this, just because now everyone have access to it and because obviously it sounds awesome.

Yes i agree it would be nice, the idea is floating around here for some time already. There are a couple of tech reasons why i didn't go for it yet, but hopefully one day...

Getting it for FREE sounds like a great idea TO YOU....but am sure the developers need motivation to keep developing more stuff. It is called "getting paid!" Don't you think?

Freeware is a good way of attracting people to a product. I don't expect the dev to work for nothing. It is all about marketing. If it wouldn't pay off for him and his business, he wouldn't consider it.

I'm really looking into Jo's interest mainly, marketing is not free either, Voxengo dev. mentioned he keeps updating one of his freebies because he get's plenty of traffic for it, whatever works for one, paying magazine or banner space and etc.
