I could see Spectrasonics doing a comprehensive keyboard library. (check: just released) Followed by a comprehensive guitar library. (Never done the way they can do things) Followed by a comprehensive orchestral library. (imagine a sound-source of 4 fluctuating tremolo-violins and another sound-source of 2 fluttering trumpets through the STEAM engine.) Last but not least, a comprehensive organ library (pipe, church, wind, electronic, drawbar, water, mouth, accordion, harmonica, digital)
Omnisphere 3.0 is going to be the ultimate sampler-workstation keyboard inside of your computer. (in be4 the usual, NO IT WON"T EVER HAPPEN WHY DONT YOU JUST SHUTUP)

Who cares about Omnisphere 3 when we'll have your super workstation in 2022. That's all I'll' need.daExpert wrote:I could see Spectrasonics doing a comprehensive keyboard library. Umm nothing unusual about the opening post here. The new keyboard library can be integrated into Omnisphere, he/she is just saying if they do guitars and strings next it will be phenomenal.

Well, physical modeling techniques combined with sampling gives you the best of both worlds, and an astounding result.Cinebient wrote:I hope in a few years all kind of samples are obsolete due to new approach in physical modelling. Sampling is no future!![]()

why don't you wait for Omni 10 that will only take a month to install and require new 50 terabyte SD to
stream the 500 layer 512 bit samples. then you can really make some decent music.
