Thank you for the additional information, good to know. I'll keep trying to find the source of this issue.gravehill wrote:I can't reproduce it reliably either. I think there is something else happening at the same time. When I have had this happen, it has been on freshly loaded plugin so maybe something is going on in the background still?
I'm on Windows 10 64 bit. This happened on playing the same note on keyboard and led me to find out about the double-click thing as well. And again, only the VST3 version.

Urs, will we be seeing a U-he pedal suite down the road ?

exactly.Urs wrote:Hehe, it's a bucket brigade delay. It need to be a tad noisy so you can hear the modulation swirl.alienimplant wrote:Synth sounds incredible! Any particular reason why you added the noise floor to Lyrebird? Since this is not part of the synth, what was the motive for adding a noise floor (that moves with the mix knob) to this effect? I'd prefer that it was't there, personally.

Just posted 39 Repro-1 patches based on Prophet 5 presets (reprogrammed from Arturia Porphet V3 + original patch sheets) here:

Yep, the original Pro One patches are alraedy included there. Of course i checked that before i replicated any patches from both Pro One patch sheets i found (others than the factory ones) or those from the Prophet 5 i just posted.Urs wrote:Check the 1982 folder in the preset manager...AnX wrote:Im surprised someone hasnt copied the patches from the Pro One manual yet...

Own a DSI Pro 2 - will definitely try it to se if it has something to add to my current real/virtual "synth kindergarden" (the DCOs of the Pro2 are "very modern" ß)...

It's sounding great and running well on Linux in Ardour
I know it's getting boring to hear for the developers, but if there is any chance we can get a poly mode then pretty please make one!
I understand it won't be a proper emulation any more, and that it won't sound anything like a Prophet 5, and it will make my machine's CPU explode... but just to be able to play a chord is far more important than any of those things... and nobody has to press the poly button if they don't want to! Maybe a big warning on it 'don't press, will invalidate emulation' for comic value

Hi, just had a first try on the beta, nice work.. reminded me immediately to the pro ones i owned during the decades, filter is very close, oscillator plain sound aswell..
sofar 2 points where i ve been running in replicating my favorite patches..
noise appears to be a little soft.. booth from level aswell as spectrum wise.. not much..but didnt hit as hard in noise full up sounds as with the pro ones i know. I see it as a pro one feature that the noise still cuts thru on high resonant full osc level patches.
That could be maybe adjustable in the tweaks, but if not..better too much than to little.
The fm modulation dont gets it 100%..sounds to smooshed and unsubstantial noisy in most settings.. But i guess thats the most difficult to get part digitally.. it gets in the right direction and produces a lot of intersting sounds anyway..just dont gets that pro one byte and sparkle.. I see that smooshing helps here in most cases but might prohebit the sparkle when it gets close to harmonic relations? That could be also a point for the tweaks maybe? FM edge parameter?
In any case i would like tweaks that allow to individualize instances of the plug in.. a scale trim on the osc´s would be wonderful for that. There are reasons that some people dont tune their solo synths 100% equal. very good reason when beeing used as bass synth.. In general plug ins could allow more fine tuning to individualize sound and behavior.
note priority chemes are a good thing too where options to the original cheme could be offered, what also allows nice multi instance fx..
last but not least..a heavy bug.. the mushrooms on the circuitboard are missing..

Ok, i have thought of something. DSI Mopho, you can connect few of those devices and make Mopho polyphonic. I wonder if this was possible with Pro One, but according to manual it was not. If Urs just pretends its a newer revision wich gives ability to do that and instead of calling Poly mode to something like "connect 3 more" maybe it would stiill be faithful recreationDavid Else wrote:I know it's getting boring to hear for the developers, but if there is any chance we can get a poly mode then pretty please make one!

And indeed it wouldnt be Prophet 5, it had Unison

I recreated the Yazoo (or Yaz if you're in US) classic 'Only You' using 10 instances of RePro-1. All sounds, with the exception of the 808 snare, comes from the RePro-1 synthesizer alone. There's a limiter on the Master Out with a subtle amount of tape saturation but no other effects are used. Some of the presets in the track will be submitted for inclusion in the factory content of the RePro-1. All credit to Pea Hicks for the midi.
