Judging by top FR's, MuLab would be much more Bitwig alike if they got implemented, on other hand I come down to Bitwig vs. MuLab, with Bitwig having an clear edge, especially with second hand licenses that go for around 150 bucks... Let's wait a little and see how the things will go and how good implementation of some FR's will be.runaudio wrote:http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=442838

No bitterness is directed at you. After all you are just another pawn in the system. As I have stated, I respect you and your work, just not your decision to disallow keys to be sold, etc.mutools wrote:I understand your criticism on the system we live under (which is for a great part a consequence of the human dna, imho, but that's another topic) but simply projecting that on the reasons why i don't allow selling user keys is too simple, and yes i feel bitterness in your projected criticism on my choice there. Understandable. But pls cool it.sl23 wrote:I disrespect the system we live under. It has kept me poor my whole life because I lacked the opportunities others have placed in their laps. Am I bitter and twisted? No. Cool calm and collected.
And when people create these stupid self centred rules it makes me more determined to fight back against the silent oppression we live under.

What a shitstorm over a bargain software. How much do you really expect to achieve when reselling MuLab? 30 €? Hell, if you translate that to the amount of time people take to write their posts here, that's a really weak hourly rate.

Plenty of people over here work few days for 30 euros, personally I appreciate my hard earned money too, have so many better ways to spend 30-80 euros than getting into software that it's not there and who knows when it will be and can't be sold if i need some money back in case of emergency, just like that was the case with some of my other audio gear.chk071 wrote:What a shitstorm over a bargain software. Being left with NFR makes decision little harder on me, that's all I'm saying, I have no deeper issue with this than that, in nutshell, if I'm stuck with something, I want to be stuck with something that is doing it for me, Jo is one man operation, so I get it, some stuff isn't that easy.

That's actually really sad! I'm starting to realise why digit got so pissed off with people on this forum with attitudes like that.whyterabbyt wrote:Not interested in your little slew of PMs, sl23. Deleted unread.
So now we aren't allowed to calmly discuss things openly on a forum that has very real effects for certain people? Very sad!

That's a terrible thing to say, imho. I really hope you take that back. Search for his posts and read them again. He was repeatedly very offensive to others and that was also the opinion of the KVR team and that's why he was banned.sl23 wrote:I'm starting to realise why digit got so pissed off with people on this forum with attitudes like that.
Who said that?? I certainly didn't. Eventhough i don't agree with your opinion on this, you're free to post your opinion, as long as posts are on topic, with solid arguments and respectful.sl23 wrote:So now we aren't allowed to calmly discuss things openly on a forum that has very real effects for certain people? What, attitudes like 'Im not interested in the multiple unsolicited PMs you sent?'. Hmmm.sl23 wrote:That's actually really sad! Not sure where you've been prevented from doing anything. Especially not sure where you've been prevented from doing anything on the basis of me not reading your PMs. Are you trying to prevent me from having the choice of what I do with unsolicited PMs?So now we aren't allowed to calmly discuss things openly on a forum that has very real effects for certain people? Very sad!
More than that, given that these private messages are pretty as far from 'discussing things openly' as its possible to get on the forum, your position here is ludicrously hypocritical. Perhaps if you'd actually tried to 'calmly discuss things openly on the forum', rather than send messages which noone else would see, I might have been prepared to read them. But please dont pretend that not wishing to read your PMs has anything to do with 'discussing' anything let alone 'openly'.

Wow... You're just like my missus, you make your mind up and it's unshakeable even though you're wrong!
You're immaturity is also shining bright, you're twisting what I say to suit your version of events, definitely sounds like my missus!! lol
Very sad that you can't even accept an apology from someone just because you have a different opinion. But then I've no doubt you're just trying to be a troll, well done, you succeeded.
I never mentioned anything about being prevented from discussing anything, not quite sure how you manage to come up with that falsehood? But then, most of your posts are exactly that.
Tell you what, I really can't be bothered to argue with such an immature gooseberry
I'll leave you to believe you're right, cause you wouldn't know truth if it smacked you in the mouth.
Oh and by the way, private messages are just for discussing things between individuals without filling the forum with stuff most don't need or want to know about.

Hmmm. Twisting events? Falsehood?sl23 wrote:I never mentioned anything about being prevented from discussing anything, not quite sure how you manage to come up with that falsehood?
So this bit I quoted wasnt you claiming you were not being allowed to discuss things, then? When you said 'so now we're not being allowed to discuss things'. You do know that 'not being allowed' to do something is the same as being prevented from doing it, right?
Hmmm, sure looks like you.sl23 wrote:So now we aren't allowed to calmly discuss things openly on a forum that has very real effects for certain people? Very sad!

Can we lock this thread please? It's getting off topic now and is turning into a battle of wills rather than a civil conversation. Points and opinions have been made. Some people disagree with Jo's decision on not allowing trade of Mulab licenses. Jo has stated that he holds his points. End of discussion I think.
