Very nice!Urs wrote:Now for something positive: Repro-1 Filter is now 50% faster, uses half the CPU - that's 4 days well spentIt makes Repro-1 use about 30%-40% less CPU. We're working on more improvements, and we're probably adding a CPU saving mode for patches without intense modulation or filter resonance.

Quick question, pretty sure i'm gonna buy this but how long is the beta likely to last? A few more days or weeks?
Yeah vat sucks cause you don;t see it until you go through the checkout then you see the real price, tbh put me off buying Diva in the past which i bought used and absolutely love now, it's all over every track now and if marrying synths were legal...

If only Urs had the foresight and had addressed that question and write something like this in his original post:
Here is a temporary serial number for Repro-1:
User Name: "Beta Tester"
Serial Number: "V9574-NOL2Q-FUIUA-GQG8"
This serial will be valid until the end of 2016.

But it doesn't mean neither that sale would be until the end of 2016 nor release would support beta key at all. Exactly the same post:zvenx wrote:This serial will be valid until the end of 2016.

I see. He has said a few times in this thread which granted you may have missed, that he expects the beta period to end the end of this month. I read the question as when does the beta version expire and that ends end of 2016.
edit: you found one of those instances.

I like the sequencer. I would love to be able to "tweak" sequencer two to be an accent sequencer. Nothing fancy, just an option for 1+2. So, you have a jumper that changes 1+2 to work as two parallel sequencers and then velocity is an offset for VCA EG modulation and pitch (with or without glide, whatever's easiest) is an offset for VCF EG modulation.
That would make this a badass acid machine.

You know the VAT is a tax imposed by the government, right? It doesn't go into our pockets.Stefken wrote:You click the link and 69 dollars turns out to be ~80 euro for EU customers.
It's not a little extra we ask for because we fancy to do so. Our asking price is $69. Ze end.
What your (yes, YOUR) government asks in addition to that is NO concern of ours.
Not (entirely) true. When browsing websites of local stores that only deal with national sales, sure, then maybe. But especially when purchasing digital goods in international online stores, as is pretty common nowadays for software, then prices are very often displayed as "excl. VAT" prices. Not as a final price.Stefken wrote:When you browse a shop, normally the price displayed is the price you pay.

Fantastic post, I guess now some people will understand the implications of selling electronic goods online and world wide.

I don't think we'll get there straight away. We have planned to add this into Hive and Repro-1, but unlike our previous implementations I would like to move it (or an extension of it) into the keyboard control. Which will require a lot of extra work, but may make the concept better.ghettosynth wrote:BTW: Will the final version support .tun files?

If all goes well my dev team will do a feline synth emulation after this, and it'll feature a duophonic mode.Elektronisch wrote:Hmm some idea occured, if no polymode maybe paraphonic mode? or duophonic

Uhe also sells on US sites for the same dollar price as the their web store who do not add an extra sales tax as it is not applicable in that state. You won't get the beta intro price there obviously. Rob is correct in his point except that VAT is an EU tax only, it's a sales tax of course but is only applicable in the EU. Other countries and US states may or may not have a sales tax of their own it just isn't called VAT.2ZrgE wrote:#rob wrote:Not true. Countries outside of EU have VAT. Even single states of the US. A P5 is also on the table, but we haven't decided yet in exactly which way we'll go about it. I guess it depends on how much we can bring the CPU down and what it takes to make our ModMatrix work in a multicore scenario (those two things are currently mutually exclusive).
