Does anyone have the FM patch similar to the videos uploaded by mutools on youtube?

You can find the patch in the factory library:

Taifunk, you seem to be part of many threads I find interesting.

I was a bit surprised to see that the modulator in this FM patch affects the carrier's "Phase" and not "Pitch". I always thought FM involves changing the carriers frequency at audio rates. I assumed that would require modulating pitch and not phase. Can anyone explain?

Phase modulation is more stable, pitch wise. With MUX you can do real pitch modulation too, so you can experiment with it and hear the differences.

Well, I'm happy about that:)
The classic FM such as the DX7,is called FM but it is actually PM>phase modulation,
basically FM and PM are the same thing or rather similar when using a sine wave as a modulator, the thing changes when the modulations are a bit more complex,
for example when modulating the pitch, increasing the modulator volume also increases the pitch of the carrier, this does not happen with phase modulation.
However, you can get some very nice sounds also with real FM(pitch modulation) :)

Thank you Taifunk & Mutools.
