Another weak ass sale by Ableton. Any of these prices, including Push 2, can be had multiple times a year using one of the "personal" discount codes GC or other major outlets dish out like candy. I guess they just can't bear offering a 30% discount any more.
Oh well.

Why is this even interesting? All of my DAWs will slow something down.Fleer wrote:Thanks Num, great find.Numanoid wrote:Song Surgeon Trainer is free for a couple of days, costing $30 regularly

I'm not sure if this has been posted in the deals thread, I don't really care, one of you can post it, but, Waves is giving away a plugin for this black friday.

Last year it was the awesome and often used TrueVerb!!!!!
The year before I think it was one of the one knobs, I know I have the one knob pumper, I mean, that's the best one knob to have, amiright?
What's it going to be this year? Let's speculate, dream, gossip, oh what the hell, maybe even troll just a little bit.
Let's hear those guesses?

Your answer doesn't make any sense, what does this do well? I have 3rd party tools because they do a job more effectively than my DAW. This just looks like a bit of a toy, it was a serious question, what's the point of this thing?Fleer wrote:My DAWS have compressors, EQ, reverb, delay and what not.
Why oh why would I need anything third party?

Didn't get it as a serious question, hence I understand it doesn't make sense to you.
Num's post got me to check out this Song Surgeon software (http://songsurgeon.com) as I quite appreciate him posting about these developers.

Yes, I checked it out as well. My first thought was, "My god, I haven't needed anything like that in ages" I used to use an ibanez "Rock and Play" which has a switch to play the tape at half speed so everything is an octave lower. It just seems like a tool who's time has past since my DAW does a really good job of slowing things down and looping them.Fleer wrote:Didn't get it as a serious question, hence I understand it doesn't make sense to you.

This was my exact thought. But it's free. I signed up. Maybe it will be an Abbey Roads plugin. Just not one of the two I already have. I kinda would think if they really wanted to Push their hardware product they'd give you a better deal or more freebies on their software line ....just my opinion. So I agree with you.anxiousmofo wrote:Another weak ass sale by Ableton.
