"Retcon is the natural evolution of the BOCS series. It pulls together all three previous libraries along with a massive amount of new content to bring you the finest collection of ambient inspired sounds."
So that seems it includes all of BOCS as well as new stuff.

But the original trilogy is still half price of that, and sometimes the original is betterFleer wrote:Or go for their next level Retcon, including all of BOCS, now also at half price:

I was wondering that myself.thejonsolo wrote:Didn't George or someone use to do a Black Friday thread?
It IS a lot of work.
It would be wonderful to see that thread again this year.

I think it is a holiday sales thread. Black Friday is specific to the Thanksgiving Holiday in the USA (I think).Kalamata Kid wrote:I was wondering that myself.thejonsolo wrote:Didn't George or someone use to do a Black Friday thread?

Well, I remember a Black Friday thread holiday or not. I celebrate life everyday, but I SURELY DO LOVE Black Friday sales...and I was hoping to see that thread or even a holiday thread.Gribs wrote:I think it is a holiday sales thread. IS there a holiday thread? And if so, isn't it usually a sticky?

Well, I was a bit disappointed in the Eventide sale. The best discounts are all on products that I already have, almost none of which, are in their anthology. In any case though, if you missed out on Blackhole last year for $49 (less at JRR), it's back on sale again.

Yea, I am looking at that deal.ghettosynth wrote:Well, I was a bit disappointed in the Eventide sale. Passed it up last time.
So it was $49 minus the JRR discount?

Yep, same price that I paid for it last year. If I knew then how much I was going to use it, I would have been willing to pay more, LOL! I do a lot of weird ambient stuff and it's easily my most used reverb.Kalamata Kid wrote:Yea, I am looking at that fdeal.ghettosynth wrote:Well, I was a bit disappointed in the Eventide sale. If you demo it you definitely want to setup the ribbon strip and modulate it in your DAW. That's one of its key strengths and it has a very characteristic sound.Kalamata Kid wrote:"ambient"! you just nudged me closer to pulling the trigger.ghettosynth wrote:Yep, same price that I paid for it last year.
