No problem. Glad to help. I've been helped so many times too.

And I just posted the buy-one-get-one-free info on the Presonus studio monitor lines going on currently. Not sure how long it'll last. I asked MF how long it would last when I ordered a pair of the E66 and a pair of the R65s last night. They said it could end anytime.

My guess is that these MTM and R series haven't caught on in the marketplace since their release last year, but they are actually hidden jewels in the industry. If more people know how good they were they'd be selling a ton of them. Or maybe they are.. dunno. But I know the blue bezel on the R65 and R80 was a HUGE turn off for me this past year. But discovered yesterday that they actually come with black bezels too in the box. So you can switch them out.

I've been wanting to try some studio monitors with ribbon tweeters for years. Now I can. And been wanting to try some MTM monitors as well.

My top favorite monitors are the Dynaudio BM6A and the Focal Solo6be and Twin6be but for now I am not going to spend that much on monitoring. Someday. For now I'll go for these Presonus MTM and ribbon tweet versions to get me into that realm.

Hope this helps out someone.

Just posted the info on Synthmaster's sale in the no chat thread too.

Anyone know if the player version is worth getting in addition to also getting the full and/or everything bundle?

Are the presets different in the player version and worth having in addition to the regular version? If so, I may just get the player and the regular version and wait to get the everything version 'someday'. Especially if all the presets are already in the player. $29 for the academic version and $9 for the player with all the presets may give me all I need is what I'm wondering.

Is JRR going to be able to offer the Trash 2 pricing that Sweetwater and EveryPlugin have?

Is the current $49 ($43-$44 at other re-sellers) price on the Waves API 2500 about the lowest its ever been? Anyone know?

And I still haven't received my Anthology X upgrade license (for owners of 3 products) from JRRshop yet. But that link someone posted earlier says I only qualify for the 2 products upgrade license.

http://weber.eventide.com/webservices/A ... rview.html

It says my Quadravox and Ultrachannel count but not my free Roomverb 2016 it seems?

So I bought Blackhole and we'll see if that has any effect once I get that registered. I was going to buy it anyway.

If not, I may have to still buy a copy of the PTA (Precision Time Align) plugin as that is the cheapest one available ($24) it seems that is part of Anthology X. Hope not as I though I was good to go based on their response to me earlier. I'd not heard of the link above until today. We'll see...

Regarding Eventide Anthology X upgrade sale price, I spoke with their sales staff this morning for clarification:

1. Single plugins that qualify toward upgrade MUST be ones included in Anthology X. (Blackhole, 2016 Stereo Room Reverb, T-Verb DO NOT qualify).

2. Certain pluggin "bundles" with 1 common license (such as H910 + H910Dual) count as one pluggin, not two. It is determined by the number of licenses registered on your ILOK account.

3. There's some conflicting info on retailers sites - some don't have upgrades with sale price, some have a smaller list of what qualifies - not sure why. Be careful to verify which pluggins it qualifies thru them at sale price. I know what is listed above should work at Eventide store per their sales rep.

You need to go to Eventide store and find Anthology X upgrades there to see sale prices (takes some navigating). If you don't have enough qualifying licenses, there are several low price qualifying singles on sale now ... assuming you have time to register on ilok before ordering upgrade. In theory, you could own nothing, order 3 low price singles then get upgrade making it a killer deal! :hyper:

Certainly the lowest I've seen in the last 2-3 years.

I'm also thinking about it, but I have enough compressors already...
It's a "nice to have" rather than a "need"

Can anyone confirm that as long as your Waves product is covered under WUP and has a retail price of less than $700 then there is no transfer free?

AFAIK, Blackhole does not qualify. PTA is the cheapest way to get another qualifying product.

i don't remember for sure the amount but below a certain amount transfers are for sure free. $700 sounds right.

Thanks ghetto. I just bought PTA now for $23. I appreciate it.

And I picked up the API 2500 as well. I'm guessing it may be available the end of the week for the same or maybe even less perhaps, but what the heck. It's been on my list forever. If they offer the 550A/B for like $20 something I'll grab 'em too.

Thanks Kevin and Novalis for the input. That helped me pull the trigger on these.

You can probably pick up the entire API bundle for $99 or less this Friday. It was cheap last year. But $49 is a good price if you just need the comp, It's a true workhorse.

Thanks. I read the number on their web site but their language wasn't completely clear.

That's right, I remember now. I passed on it then. I think that I'm going to pass on almost everything until Friday. If Eventide wants my money, they need to come at me hard, LOL!
