How can something sound tasty?
Even this koala bear knows the Repro-1 sounds tasty:

It seems this inspired me, i made a kind of didgeridoo sounding patch after watching this :D

One thing thats a little hard for me, is the amount of CPU the synth takes when i'm not playing it.

I sometimes have to disable the plugin in logic, to get working on other tracks ...

That'll be over soon, because we have added a switch to preserve CPU when idle (apart from a vast general speed bump anyway) 8)

Nice !

I also had a surprise once, i was away from the computer for some time, and when i came back, there was this spooky sound that had built up, at first i didn't know where it was coming from !

I think it was the Regen that very slowly build something from low noise ...

Post

I'm trying to explore the synth a little away from traditional sounds ...

Here is a second quick Demo i made using only Repro-1 for all sounds :

MacOS Sierra, Tracktion 7, latest version of Repro1 demo.
Thank you, I've made a note, will have to test it.
Although we didn't encounter any problems with Sierra yet (maybe apart from the one you just mentioned), we are not officially supporting it yet. We need some more time to determine if there are any problems with our plugins on Sierra.
The VST3 of Repro-1 works fine over here in Tracktion 7 on El Capitan.

Uh, indeed. Can confirm this. Thanks a lot for reporting it. :tu: Happens when you set the LFO to Host Sync mode, but not in Rate mode. Have just added it to our bug-tracking system.

Correct, in rate mode it sounds fine.

Here is a little demo tune that I made only with Repro-1.
The drums are Kontakt 5.

Check the "Drone" mode switch.
No. Let me be clear...the first note I hit stays held. So...if I hit a D4 it stays on D4. If I hit an E4 it briefly goes to E4 and then quickly back to D4, even while still holding down the E4. This is after saving a project in Cubase and then reloading it after tweaking the sound.

The sad part is that I was in the middle of a job and had to delete the instance of Repro1 and go to another VST to finish it up. So I cannot just send the bad version over for analysis.

Right now I am trying to duplicate it.

Cool song! I think that's the best didg sound I've heard from a synth. If you are willing to share the didg patch, I would like to try it out.
You can hear my original music at this link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... dID=224436
