I love the first version of the skin. Very relaxing, and somehow gives it what I feel as a Oberheim feel, that I really like, Default skin from now on!

After working with the Blue Bazille for a while, I got a bit bored of the intense blue/red colour scheme.
I made a more neutral grey version and I like it better.

The indicator arrow on the big knobs was a bit lost in the shadows, so I've added a subtle glow in the dark material.

Thank you for your understanding.cbas wrote:I'm sorry I didn't realize you've created these knobs. I came across them on a website and I will provide you with an URL if I can trace back my steps. Is it really that hard to ask?
my sincerest apologies!
By the way, your new black knobs are looking great! I think they are a perfect fit to Bazille.
A small suggestion:
If you mix a little color into the solid grey background things become more lively and harmonic.
It is quite subtle but can improve a lot.
Examples:
original:

greenish:

gradient:

The biohazard logo needs to go. It only adds unnecessary visual confusion.

Looks great. I have to agree that the little characters diminish its charm a bit IMO, but that's a very subjective personal preference. Characters or not I think I still prefer it over the default skin. The colors are more pleasant and the different sections are more clearly divided. Nice work.cbas wrote:@Elektronisch: My guess is that the colour of the original skin is an homage to the Roland System 100M on which the Bazille is loosely based.
I have made this a while back, but I didn't think it was of a high enough quality to share it:

Yeah, I hate to say it β because I know everyone has their preferences β but I also thought the biohazard sign wasn't necessary.
Very nice either way, though.

I rather like the blue one, but would prefer those "white" knobs (knobGP_bipol and knobGP_uni) a bit less prominent. Maybe colorize?

That's the one I'm using as well. I have a problem with the black knobs against the black module panels though. It's hard to see the knobs. I think maybe the panels should be grey, or lightened. I like the white ones a lot though.
