should they qulify for the 99$ upgrade to Antology X?
BlackHole and Stereo Room aren't in the anthology, so they don't qualify you. If they did, they would qualify me as well and I'd be jumping on it.
I'm wondering if this is changing, because the name of the 99$ upgrade is now "EVENTIDE ANTHOLOGY X UPGRADE FROM ANTHOLOGY II OR ANY 4 EVENTIDE PLUGINS" (on the JRR site) or "Crossgrade FOUR: For registered users of FOUR Eventide plug-ins or Anthology II" (on the best service site)
I spoke with Eventide Monday and they said qualifying pluggins must be from Anthology.

Also note on JRRShop order site:
Anthology X Upgrade customers: please write your iLok ID in the comments field when ordering. The licenses you are upgrading from will be surrendered to Eventide when you upgrade
You lose your existing license(s) in exchange for Anthology X

Also: It seems loophole for bargain is to buy cheapest licenses you need to have 4 total, then go with the upgrade from 4 single licenses (of products within Anthology).

Now could I use 4 Precision Time Align licenses? Just kidding ... :clown:

I assume that they must be different? Otherwise one could buy four micro delays.

It was a joke, but feel free buy 4 and test it! Haha.

Can I expect a better deal for Izotope Music Production Bundle 2 soon?

Right now it's like $500, do these bundles usually go on sale more closer to Xmas?

Thanks!

Why not if they're different? It's cheaper for sure.

So at plugin discounts buy the time align and the omnipressor for around $64 and get the Anthology for $99. Best deal so far.

The blackhole and Stereo Room don't count. I check at Eventide.

SoundToys announcing their Black Friday sale on Nov 24.

Personally hoping for an upgrade deal on the SoundToys bundle, after having used the trial. I grabbed Echoboy during the recent sale and would love to have the full set.

On a countdown http://www.soundtoys.com/ note the website is draining at the moment due to a mail out!

I'm just starting to produce with vocals, and I haven't used any harmoniser plugins up until now

Do you think it's worth buying Octavox (8 voices), or will I get away with Quadravox (4 voices)?

Neither does formant control, so you get chipmunk sound when you shift vocals. You might want to check out Melodyne, Vielklang, and Antares Harmony EVO for vocals. Good luck!

I have the Quadravox. It sounds a little strange for vocals. Part of me wants to try the octovox, but I think it would be worse. But it really depends on the sound you are going for. And how much vibrato the vocalist has. :?

Sweet! I have a lotta Meldas, but not that one. Will wait for the half-price deal to roll around on it. Thanks, VariKuzBrainZ!

This is reverse backwards logic... they are only hurting sales with this policy, think about how many more people would buy into this upgrade if they could sell what they have to help recoup cost and then those folks who purchase these individual plugins (at a discount) it would then motivate them to also purchase the upgrade... more customers is always better, especially when they have acquired your product legally. I'm sure there are many other arguments for/against but this is a black Friday sale and competition is fierce, those with the most clever/savings deal will get the lions share of revenue.
