Black Friday deals are like watching new year eves fireworks, whose gonna bring out the real power :D

Impact Soundworks just launched some really good offers at 60% off:
-Juggernaut for Kontakt Player costing $55
-Celestia for Kontakt(full version required) costing $49

https://impactsoundworks.com/black-friday-2016/
If you're already an Impact Soundworks customer, make sure you log into your account and check ALL the Deals/coupons/upgrades/My Products on the left column. I have a $35 off code for Celestia so I just snagged it for $14.

(Which makes up for having to buy Super Audio Cart two weeks ago for a job and now it's on sale. Boo.)
"Sorry, No coupons available for you."
Then again, only had Celestia and three minor libraries in my account.
But hey, look what I found under "Deals": $30 off of Juggernaut. Code added. Total price $25. Thanks for pushing us to look further!
I think I had that Juggernaut coupon too but it's not there now. Perhaps they are deactivating some codes... or I could have a bad memory.

Ok Serious Question Guys. Slate Drums 4 Platinum or Superior Drummer?

I know slate sound great but I'm having a hard time finding comparisons. Slate has 100 kits, how many does superior have? Superior has 20gb of 24bit unprocessed samples. What does slate have? How many gb? How many samples each? lol. What do you recommend?

Also anyone know how long these eventide deals are going on for? Seems like you can just buy 4 plugins get anthology x for $250 or so total. I have no experience with them. I'm waiting on the sound toys. :)

So with SoundToys 50% across the board, my upgrade from EchoBoy to SoundToys 5.1 is only $169. Mighty tempting.

My Juggernaut code disappeared after the Celestia purchase. Fair warning would have been nice, but still a great deal.

Make sure you pick up the FREE Tremolator and THEN check your upgrade price. Mine went from $170 to $160 after doing that. :o

I bought superior drummer years ago with two of their big packs at the time. Big bucks. But actually never really liked them ultimately. I got SSD shortly thereafter and love all the sounds from Slate.

I also have EZ drummer and have actually used that a TON more than superior drummer.

Personally I think my purchase of superior and the big packs ended up being overkill and a waste for me.

I'd recommend SSD or EZ. Or check into chocolate audio's stuff. Top shelf sounds in their drum options such as their modern retro and their black album drums.

Edit: And be careful on the Eventide Anthology X upgrade offer. It ISN'T any 4 plugins. They have to be from within Anthology X already. I'm learning the hard way about that. I started another thread about it here: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=473913

That said... a few days ago, anticipating a sale, I wrote down my "standard" upgrade fee - it was $280. Now it's $320. Hmmm.

Gotta love the Soundtoys freebies.

Tremolator is the first freebie from the original suite? Seems like an LFOtool without the editable pattern via UI. It looks like it takes patterns but I see no direct way to update them from the GUI?

Either way.. it's pretty neat. Nice for pumping/gating effects.

technically the other freebies were in the suite too correct? They were the lite version but those are included.

That is my point.. those were lite versions. They don't count in this context.

This is the first full plugin from the 'original' suite they've offered to us... not some watered down variant. It is extra nice on their part imo.
