Nice plugin but it has no midi learn so i bought d16 punchbox instead about an hour ago for £39.Keppada wrote:So any of the Waves bundles worth it for beginner? Also Sonic Academy Kick 2 is -40%. What do you guys think about that plugin?
I actually much prefer punchbox anyway.
Mac mini m4 pro, Reaper, too many plugins, Modal Argon8, Novation Circuit Mono Station and now a lovely Waldorf Blofeld.

I'd stay away from Waves like the plaque, overrated, old and imo sound shite plus Wup f**k's you. Kick2 is pretty good for making thundering kick drums also PB Big Kick but I found Punchbox or whatever it's called very lacking in power of the sounds.Keppada wrote:So any of the Waves bundles worth it for beginner? Gunark; The volume 1 bundle from Softube has Modular included for like 399$ They do sales from time to time, usually their older plugins go on sale so I wouldn't hold my breath.
Rational; I don't think I'll ever update my Komplete again I never use any of that stuff I payed over a thousand euros for and come to think of it I have a Traktor S8 lying on the floor that's been unused for 2 years another grand there... NI is not what they used to be, screw them.

Well, I was just teasing a bit anyway.yppse wrote:You might be rightjsp1979 wrote:It's not Black Friday yet folks. Give it until tomorrow before moaning.- I didn't want to moan, just expressing "if there would be some ... I would jump on Rector6 and ReplikaXT updates...

That being said, the NI sale is here: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... ial-offer/
However, updates are not discounted.
