There is a new MuLab 7.2.9 test version in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/
What's new:
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into an existing M7.1 installation folder.
Mac: Put the new .app file into an existing M7.1 installation folder.
What's new:
- Moving VST editors: Position was not restored exactly. Fixed.
- Improved behavior wrt editor windows that are too much off screen.

Wow, that was fast, it seems to work now, thanks
I guess the problem as such is that for some reason the mouse pointer "holding" the title bar can move "behind" the Windows bar.

Why would I move the Windows bar?!

Uh... Something to do?
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better?

Didn't want to open a new thread, but maybe this post, which I stumbled upon in another thread, is of interest:

I demo'd that same synth in MuLab with no problem. It's likely a user error (also unprofessional to post without first sending crash report).fluffy_little_something wrote:maybe this post, which I stumbled upon in another thread, is of interest

I have encountered something annoying sporadically in every version since Mulab 7, when a midi sequence is playing and I adjust the velocity of a midi note in the editor, the sound of the adjusted note holds endlessly and there's nothing I can do but restart Mulab or delete the device to stop the tone

I don't understand what you mean. Where is the MIDI sequence routed to? An internal MUX synth? A VST synth? MIDI output? Are you setting the velocity to 0? Please describe the issue in the very detail.

Well it was routed to a rack with the internal Random Choir preset and I changed the velocity down a little from say 115 to 100. I'm sorry I can't explain this in more detail or give more examples. It's the first time I saw what I was doing when it happened, because there were only two tracks in the project yet. In the past I've only noticed after pausing the mix because it wasn't really cutting through the rest of the sound.mutools wrote:I don't understand what you mean. I didn't know about the panic button, if it ever happens again I'll try that
