Hi,
I'm trying to control the synths effects etc on tracktion 7. I have Tracktion sending>>playing midi notes to the synth .
The Minilogues knobs/buttons can also receive midi (e.g - Filter cutoff etc) http://www.korg.com/us/support/download ... /544/2890/
I'm not sure how to do this in tracktion. Is it via a Automation channel or on the midi clips 'control' drop down menu?.
Ideally I'd be able to press record and the DAW will record any Minilogue incoming midi signals, then when I play it back tracktion sends the signals back to the Minilogue. I have that working with Midi notes but nothing shows up when try and record any of the Minilogues effects.

Hi Again,
I now have Tracktion controlling the Minilogues effects by using the Midi clips 'Control'. Though the functionality of the midi control envelope isn't as good as that of the Automation envelopes in tracktion. Also, the midi assignments are pre-named.e.g - volume. And I don't see any way to change this . So I have midi control out with names that have no relevance to what I' controlling.
A while back, I did purchase the Tracktion 6 manual written by a third party, but it's not comprehensive in it's information, thus I'm not paying for the Tracktion 7 manual. Maybe move onto DAW pastures new.

Most midi CC numbers are predefined. Look at page 57 of your Minilogue manual to see the parameters and their specific CC number.
