You probably shouldn't. One thing I can say about U-he stuff is that they worm their way so far into your system the only way you will remove it is by clean install.

care to explain in detail, not some vague reference?

DIVA is a pretty mission specific synth so if you're not looking for the type of sounds it excels at I can see not being interested. I love DIVA but I have been thinking about trying to trade it for Hive.

Needs an UNINSTALL script, one that actually gets rid of all the hidden orphan files.

I guess if you can't find any files anymore, they must be hidden somewhere else. But you just can't find them. They're like, you know, not there. But to be sure you got them all, you have to wipe the harddrive and do a clean install. Because, you know, they have a list of locations their stuff uses in the user manual, but that can't possibly be all of it. So better clean your hard drive to get rid of that hidden scum.

So yeah, we never thought it would be a necessity, but indeed, we'll do uninstallers next year. They still won't wipe the hidden files you couldn't find before - because not even the uninstaller can find them. How would they, relly, if even you can't? Maybe we'll build an option in... "re-install whole system". Does it automatically then.
