Some kind of a bug: Melda plugins are learning after learning

Hi there,

Try this:
  • Load up any melda plugin
  • Click on MIDI
  • Enable controllers
  • Enable the first one in the list and click on "LEARN" (enable the learn button)
  • Close the window and tweak a parameter
  • Tweak any MIDI knob (with the correct input port of course, so that the plugin gets MIDI input)
Till here, everything seems fine. But now to the tricky thing:
  • Tweak another MIDI controller.
At this point I have to say: Melda plugins really like to learn new things, which can be great, if you are human. I have to admit that I feel that this could be like a bug. What happens is that the lst tweaked MIDI will be assigned (or even the last tweaed paramater will be chosen).

The behaviour I would expect: after the parameter and the MIDI controller is "learned" the learn process should be finished. It gets finished after opening the MIDI window of the plugin again though.

Still: is it really supposed to act like this and learn again and again? :D

Yep, you need to turn off [Learn] when you've finished.

It tripped me up too at first, I was expecting to to turn off automatically -but this way caters for twiddling the wrong knob.

tl:dr closing the Midi window in melda plugins does not stop the learning of midi controllers and parameters. Opening the midi window again disables learning.
it's a bug

Aaah, ups, ok, added to todo list, it won't make it to the forthcoming update though.
