Happy Black Friday Vojtech. Hey, this is probably a delicate matter but looking at Liquidsonics Reverberate 2.0 with its 'Fusion-IR' technology, is there anything there that MMultiBandConvolution can't achieve with it's dual filters, modulators etc? Don't feel obliged to answer if you're too busy, but thought you might be interested.

I use both and find them so different and wonderfully complementary. To excessively generalise: Melda for creative use of imported IRs, Liquid for realistic use of 10GB presets. FYI there are a few threads now on this topic.

Thanks Michael L. Actually I had searched for something on this, and just tried again, on KVR and Google generally..couldn't find anything.
I have MMultiBandConvolution and love it, but wondering about having Reverberate as well..looks nice.

Oh, I see. Well, then just download the Reverberate2 demo, and compare them on some individual instruments or tracks. It's a pretty big difference both sonically and visually. Then you can decide if you need that difference enough to buy it.

Actually the "fusion technology" is probably just modulating between multiple IRs we have there from the beginning, so no magic there (I cannot be sure, but from what I check about it it certainly looks so). As for the IR library, hard to say what it is there, but I feel almost disgusted, how developers are advertising any kind of library based on size... I mean Reverate has it in WAVs, which is just extremely noneffective... And sadly most devs do that. I rather compress it as FLAC (it does wonders with IRs) and save space plus speed up loading.
Anyways the only way is probably check that plugin, maybe you'll like it, maybe not, you never know
