The contacts page on the Synapse Audio site talks about resellers, but other than Thomann.de, does anyone know of anywhere else offering The Legend for less than Synapse Audio direct?

Why did Arcsyn only launch their 25% off deal today and I only got to find out about it at 4pm?
I'm guessing they might lose a few sales if everyone's rinsed their bank accounts on other purchases since BF.
Was gonna buy Obscurium but tempted by this too, not sure I can justify the expenditure on both.

Maybe was afraid it would drown in all the other offers?shonky wrote:Why did Arcsyn only launch their 25% off deal today and I only got to find out about it at 4pm?

The deal is good until this Sunday, so gives users some time to raise more money

Yeah I noticed that too - Waves do play mindgames with their prices sometimes. The important thing to remember is that there will be other sales, potentially better - for example Kramer Master Tape was $29 a few years ago and something like $23 at resellers. So never ever think "OMG this is the lowest price it's ever gonna be so I must get it NOW"Robert Randolph wrote:Based on some of the stuff I purchased on Friday... that is exactly what's happened on a lot of products.counterparty wrote:It seems kinda like Waves gave everybody a $30 gift code and put their prices up by $40.
There are some cheap things now though.
In saying that, $9 for several goodies is nothing to complain about! They might sting you later on WUP but ohwell.
They must be pretty stoked that they operate in a market where they can still turnover millions of dollars on 20 year old products.

They are all Good honestly and all metal oriented. I find Serpent to be most usefull followed by Mark4 and Bogner wich is least versatile but a great power chord and palm mute amp sim.OB-XKeys wrote:Hi Boone777, which Thermionik collection would you recommend for Metal Tones? Also which IR Library do you prefer? I am defiantly going to purchase, you are not the only person I have heard recommending Kazrog.Boone777 wrote: Check Kazrog out I prefer these over Guitar Rig. They are cheap also. Install the demo you can try before you choose.
I already own several amp sims from various developers, currently my favorite one is the "Tube Amp Ultra 530" from Mercuriall, the response and tones I get from this rig are the best I have found to date, there is a free-forever demo that is fully functional, and right now he is having a Black Friday sale for $39.99 (reg. price $59.99)

Not sure I'd get that sort of money for my kidneys unless I sold both and I figure I'll probably need at least oneNumanoid wrote:Maybe was afraid it would drown in all the other offers?shonky wrote:Why did Arcsyn only launch their 25% off deal today and I only got to find out about it at 4pm?

My £100 pound budget has been exceeded by 22% with Obscurium, think Arcsyn can wait for the moment.

It's too bad more companies don't realize the power of extending their sales by a day or a few days.
I have two sales competing right now for my last $150 bucks before I have more funds on the 1st. Sadly neither will answer if they're going to extend. And if they don't... then I won't be able to buy them, and they'll miss out on a sale for a full year.
If they'd only learn to extend sales to the 1st and 15th for us military guys who get paid on those dates, they'd make a lot more sales. And I'd not have to wait until the following year's Black Friday to arrive again.
Just an idea guys.
And I spent $3000 already this month. And will spend another $1000 on the 1st. But the money won't be going to anyone who already ended their sale. And it'll be their loss and mine if they do.
I suggest you extend your dates and codes. It's a tactic that works for everyone.

This looks amazing! Definitely one for next month (along with those Ample basses).soundbylaura wrote:Melted Sounds "WHOOSH" is 70% off until 1/1/2017.
One of my best purchases this year (even if I only got 50% off). Could use a better manual, but I can use the mod wheel on my controller to manually create whooshes, and that's been awesome.

I've really gotten a lot of use out of it, and it's fun. It's forced me to learn about Reaktor (I have a lot more to go there...).counterparty wrote:This looks amazing! Definitely one for next month (along with those Ample basses).soundbylaura wrote:Melted Sounds "WHOOSH" is 70% off until 1/1/2017.
