Let the debate about commercial 32 bit plugins raise again! :hihi:

Some sounds from the psytrance demo are lovely (as far as this word is applicable to the sounds of this kind, lol).

They've made a 64 version of their Renegade by embedding a custom bridge into it. What holds them back from doing the same thing to their other plugins?
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

I agree, some of the sounds in the demo are pretty good! They really have a retro vibe to them.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't use their own custom 64 bit bridge. That's a really good question! I think I'll contact them to know (if they ever answer).

Is that what x64 c. version means ? That a custom 64 bridge is incorporated in the plug ?
FM WAVE XR7 is new synthesizer that is moving classic FM synthesis to brand new level. Imagine possibility to draw your own waveforms real time, import computer generated waveforms, edit them and save, modulate all waveforms pitch and amplitude with multistge free-shaping envelopes and much more. This brings you thousands of new sounds and possibilities.
How is that different from Angular Momentum's classic WaveDraw/FreeHand VST's, also made with SynthMaker?

It's available as x64. For some reason jbridge is only needed in x64 version of ableton and studio one :D

Copied from their faq:

4. Is it true that your instruments are created using the SM program from Outsim Ltd.?
Yes but actually we do not use the inner modules only. The final product is a combination of SM modules and our own algorithms written using code
module in C++ Alike and Assembler language. This means there's no way to create our products by SM program with using its standard modules only.
Thankful to the SM we are able to use programming environment where we are able to hear the results of our codes and virtual circuits in realtime to catch
the best sound. SM environment is very similar to the analog domain, where we began with sound processing and many of our plugins have a very similar
inner structure as a real analog circuits.

Yeah, just saw it. I'm tempted to buy the plug just to see how their 64bit bridge works. I'm curious.

That is interesting, sort of a hardwired modular SynthMaker creation then?

Could Adam Szabo do something similar with JP6K to make that 64 bit also ?

Tried the x64 demos. Unfortunately, they are buggy; the patches sound clear but at some point noise stick to the notes (I'm not talking about the noise "wave" we hear every 50 seconds). It makes it impossible to properly demo as everything get very noisy. I see that an .exe runs in the background to act as a bridge. That's really interesting, but I think my system doesn't handle it properly. I wish it would work. :(

Works nice on my machine. Also Renegade.

Why bother coding a Bit Bridge ? Why not just dump SynthMaker/Flowstone and spend that time on coding the synth ? :?

I just thought, maybe the bug on my machine is caused by the fact that I had Firefox open with 15 tabs opens? I'm going to retest it without any other programs open to see what happen.

Not so happy about the GUI, the font used is small and not in high resolution, can look distorted, and difficult to read on a high res screen.

You should grab some older 1680x1050 screen as secondary. They are practically free and older plugins show up nicely ;)

How do I know if I have a HD screen or not? I thought most recent screens were all HD...
