Question About Free FX Download

Short and to the point. I downloaded and installed the free FX package.
On almost all the FX, I am getting message Demo has expired.
So what exactly is the deal here? Are these free or are they just demos with a short demo period?
If the latter, this really needs to be clarified on the web site so people don't waste their time downloading free FX that aren't actually free.

I noticed the same thing and what I sorted out is there's a banner on each plugin to annoy you into paying $50 for the free bundle. It doesn't currently annoy me enough, nor have I used the plugins enough to consider dishing out money; however, I agree with you that they need to make it more clear on the site.

Yes a paid free bundle with a big nag screen
Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Because of that imo it's not even worth considering buying it. And I also uninstalled it.
It runs on my machine! Everything else is undefined behavior.

Well, you're saying "demo has expired" so clearly it's not the free plugins.
https://www.meldaproduction.com/download/plugins
"Following installer will install both 32-bit and 64-bit plugins and will let you choose which plugins you want to install. Since each plugin has about 100kB thanks to MeldaProduction Plugin Kernel technology, you can simply install all of them.
If you only want a few to be installed, the installer will allow you to choose the ones you need. Free plugins will work indefinitely, commercial plugins will be time limited trials. You can simply buy a licence for those you like and activate them."
that link barely has any text, but nobody got time for that :p
Maybe the text in bold should be in bold if this is an issue.
I mean the installer even shows what's free in green, but people just click next on every installer. http://imgur.com/a/ZkCM0
and that's how compromised computer statistics are made :p

They're free, but they have restrictions. I believe you can't save presets and it has that nag screen. If you buy the bundle those go away. Otherwise they work perfectly fine IMO. It is a great deal if you ask me, especially considering it has tons of plugins.

Except they are NOT all free. Many only work for a limited time and then come up "Demo Has Expired".Chandlerhimself wrote:They're free, but they have restrictions. I think out of the whole batch, there are maybe 5 plugins that are actually free.

Nope, (about) 30 are free and work indefinitely. The commercial plug-ins are time-limited trials.
Can you let us which free ones are showing "Demo has expired"?
--------------------
I suggest that you uninstall them all: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 8&t=457648
the run the Installer and select the Free bundle or individual plug-ins only. Then you should be good to go.
