Hi,

Win10 Pro x64
Reaper 5.28 x64
Bitwig 1.3.14 x64
Cubase 8.5 Pro x64

Other GUI sliders work fine...

Can anyone confirm ?

Cheers

No they don't. Vojtech did explain the reason why to me some time ago.Potentially lots of graphics updates (depending on the style) and therefore CPU load?

Try switching the palette to the left to Hue or Saturation and clicking on the colour you want to try. The selected colour is then shown side by side with the current colour for comparison and you can revert to the current colour by clicking it.

Hmm... My CPU/GPU is pretty porky and I'm sure it could handle real-time updates :) although I understand that not every computer is created equally...

But, if it's not possible, it would be enough, while moving the sliders, that the colour comparison box updated in real-time, and having an 'Apply' button to change the GUI.

Thanks for the reply

Damn, you noticed :D. Well, it's kind of a very hard to solve technical issue (that said, it will stay like that :D). Basically whenever you change any feature of the style, an extremely complex operation reseting the whole engine, repositioning items, reloading the whole style system etc. happens, and during that any current "state" of all controls, such as "this control is being moved by mouse", is lost, so... :D

Instead of resetting the whole UI on every slider movement, you could just update the colour box below the sliders. That's what it's there for and how it works in other application. You choose a new colour with actually working UI elements, compare it to the old, and then apply it.

That's it worked originally, but it doesn't work well, since the colors have quite various effects on the GUI.
