16 Bit, Mono. The sample length doesnt matter, but generally the higher the sample length, the more details, and the more closer it will sound to the original source, but 2048 should be the best.Specs, please... i.e. 1024, 2048??? 16,24 bit???

Sounds very good, I feel this one is going to sell like hotcakesadamtrance wrote:Ok here are some sounds. They are not recreations from the Virus, I just made them from scratch. All sound except the last, are using the arpeggiator to create melodies, so I am just holding one key down.

I scanned this thread and admit I initially took little interest. Now my interest has perked a little after seeing the comparison video you prepared. Viper sounded quite similar in texture to a virus in the comparison examples.
The virus seems a little thicker/richer sounding but it would sure be close enough for me, nothing a touch of eq could not iron out. Your video also helped me understand what people like about the Virus whereas many YT videos I watched never did. 02:33 such a pleasant and spaced out late 90's early 2,000's feel.
I think I understand why people like the Virus so much now. Maybe it something to do with nostalgia also, I am a sucker for something that sounds "of a time".
Keep us all informed on progress.

It sounds really good and the UI design is beautiful. Hopefully, it will be out by the end of the year!!

Do you get to that right maybe you can earn a lot of money we must hope for that.
The answer is in the mix when you hear it in a whole song when work with all other audio bass drums etc.

How are things going, Adam?
Sorry for the impatience but I'm a bit afraid that all this 32 bit talk may kill the project, hope it won't happen.

This is probably the synth I am currently most interested in at this time for the foreseeable months ahead.
