Glad I'm not the only one that noticed this.

Yes, my identical request still stands as well. So.. bump!
Why have it deactivated by default in the first place? That's just crazy. Thought it was bad enough that Rapid doesn't even support sustain but I put that down to inexperience, beginning to wonder now if this isn't a trend but if it is then it needs resisting, do people that actually play keyboards design these things or what?
When ArcSyn was still in Beta I had to persuade the dev to implement it, he didn't even know what I was talking about at first.

Indeed. I can kind of understand it.. perhaps most people aren't keyboard players any more. Synthesizers are now more tied in with FL Studio and Ableton Live type of programs.

Then again, as a pianist, it just blows my mind when there's zero understanding for sustain pedals. I find it almost impossible to play anything unless I have a sustain pedal at my feet.

Fortunately, from Avenger you can go to SYS tab then set Sustain Pedal to Yes (okay, assuming it's not friendly to do this everytime), hope this issue will be fixed in (near) future release.

About RAPID Synthesizer, unfortunately this feature isn't implemented (hope it will done, but not a priority for developer giving priority for OSX version, too bad) :(

This absolutely blows Nexus out of the park, IMO. Love it. Why would I want to use Nexus anymore? Avenger gives me more control of sound, better GUI (modwheel, pitch bend, keyboard, and aesthetics), way more efficient preset browser.

The only thing is... $70 for expansions? Jeez. :help:

Rapid should definitely re-think this. A lot of keyboardists are going to alternate between keyboard style sounds and more synth-style stuff and buy Rapid with a built in expectation that there will be a global config for sustain pedal.

Meanwhile, there is no thread for this Avenger synth on the main forums? At 100+ pages, shouldn't this be moved to there company forum as a sub-thread?

Some simply great sounds in here. I think what is needed is a list of things that differ between some of these better synths; For instance, really the implementation of wavetable is very different in here, no? And in Falcon, and in Serum, and in Rapid. It would be cool to have someone who knows what they're doing put up a page breaking these differences down. Not sure where it would go on KVR? Maybe KVR needs a school section where "overview" type topics can be found by the clueless reader. :help:

Is anyone else getting a problem when they have multiple instances of Avenger in a set?

Ableton Live 9.7, windows 8

I havent' had a chance to tweak my video card setting, just wondering if anyone else is seeing this.

Thanks,

There's always the balance between "getting things done" and "tweaking to perfection".

It doesn't help at all if you do the latter and thus forget about your "momentum of creativity". That said: a great tune with simple sounds is always better than a poor song with high-end polishing. (2ct)

Conclusion: all-in-one synths like Avenger serve creatives rather than engineers.

I was skeptical about Avenger so I downloaded the demo and... WOW! It's good! Very good for my workflow. So i bought it :)
I'm not having any crashing issues or gui related issues on my 2013 mac running El Crapitan, I am having a lot of fun with Avenger.
