I thought as much, I'm not always clear, I just wanted to clarify for others. If anyone can confirm that you still get a database error if you don't have any legit focusrite products that would be great. Also, if anyone can confirm that you can still get the focusrite red from the CM magazine issue, that would also be great.Fleer wrote:We indeed meant to say the same thing, ghettosynth.
You know, I think I have the link, I can at least check the latter.
Hold one....
I can confirm that the code is still active. If you purchase the back issue for $4.99, you can get the focusrite red bundle and you will have a legitimate focusrite product. Best way to get it is to log into CM's page on your iDevice. I don't know if they have an equivalent on android.

So I don't know about Zinio, but the focusrite red software is direct from focusrite. So all you need is the magazine which has the bundle code for red.dzilizzi wrote:You should be able to get it from Zinio. And the vault downloads never expire.

dzilizzi wrote:LOL! Now I'm not clear. You can get the back issues from Zinio, which gives the code to the vault.
Right, so let me make sure that all is clear.
You buy the magazine from wherever. Inside you will find the necessary clues to enable your vault access for that issue. This will give you all of the typical CM software, the samples, etc. Also in the magazine is a bundle code for focusrite red. You just use this code to register the software at focusrite either in your existing account, or you create a new account. This is necessary to activate the software. Once registered, you can just download the red package from focusrite.
So, in summary, vault access is required to download the samples and the standard plugins. You don't have to enable vault access if you just want to get focusrite red. The code is on page 53, you just enter that code in your focusrite account.

Sweet that worked. I got the focusrite from CM and registered and got that and all the free plugins, bias, eventide stereo room, etc. Thanks.
Holy crap I bought the Rapture issue 200 and was able to get it. Anyone know if you can get z3ta without the dvd? issue 171.

They don't all work the same way. So, if you purchased the issue, go over to the vault and register your issue. It will ask you to confirm several words on various pages in the magazine.systmu wrote:Sweet that worked. Once you've confirmed, then you can download all of the software that came with the issue. Sometimes the larger giveaways will have codes in files win the downloads. I don't know specifically about z3ta, even though I think that I have that issue somewhere.

If it is a CM special version, it should be in the plug-ins zip file in the November issue. Otherwise, sometimes they expire after a few months. Depends on the developer. I've lost out on a few when I didn't download them soon enough.

Thanks for the reminder on issue 200's free Rapture. I'd forgotten about that. Redownloaded my copy from the vault.
On issue 171, unfortunately the vault only has downloads going back to issue 182. And then some random ones from issue 16-68.
