Can someone tell me how to set up an image for a knob? Talking about the number of images stitched together (126? Less? More?) and the directon they need to be aligned to (vertical/horizontal?).
Thx in advance.

No limit to the number, vertical map (hence the classic output from knobman for instance), each image needs to be rectangular, hence it detects the number of images from the size.

Load one of the Factory styles into the Style Editor, and Export it as, say, temp. Then have a look in the Images sub-folder; you'll find them all there. .tga files can be edited in the GIMP, but I don't know about the .am files (used for all the icons, in various sizes).

Ok guys, got it.
P.S. Guess the .am icon-files will be created automatically (after loading respective images into the editor), but I don't care about them anyway.

The am files are proprietary, you won't be able to access them. But there's no use. Just create the knobs in knobman, render, load, done
