Ableton Live 9.7 or Cantabile 2.0.0.2072
Running v2.21 without any problem, but on updating to 3.028 I get an error "NtProtectVirtualMemory" and the host terminates (both Live and Cantabile).
Tried pausing anti-virus (Kaspersky Internet Security 2017 17.0.0.611(c) ) - still get the error.
Tried adding Cantabile as an exception in Kaspersky - still get the error.
Re-installed v2.21 and all works OK.
Any solutions would be welcome.

This problem is usually caused by anti-virus software. Try uninstalling Kaspersky to fix the problem. You may want to use a different anti-virus program if the problem persists.
It seems Kaspersky recently released an update which re-introduces an old bug of theirs which causes *ANY* product that hooks NtProtectVirtualMemory to crash certain applications like browsers, etc. Kaspersky silently blocks any product that uses NtProtectVirtualMemory and causes a crash, without any warning from the Kaspersky product.
