There is some confusion here: There are two ways to copy parts: Via drag-drop and via copy-paste. The drag-drop way works fine and has the expected default behavior. The copy-paste way always pastes as a shared part and that's what's under discussion. I agree that it would be better that pasting a sequence part would result into a unqique part, at least as default behavior. I've taken note on the wishlist.

Thanks for explaining the above Jo, it had me wondering a few times as it didn't work as my other DAWs do. I have looked through the MuTools docs but must have missed it.

Awesome, that's the spirit, making things easier and more straightforward, which results less frustration and more fun for MuLab newcomers.
