Thoughts from hands on experience with U-HE NKS?

Hey

I've been on a controller quest for a while. I have both an AKAI Advance and recently got myself a Nektar P1 (o-hai justin3am )

Both are great devices in their own regard, but neither is perfect when it comes to interacting with the u-he plugs - which I must admit is the VST brand I've invested by far the most in.

Specifically I'm interested in:
Diva
Bazille
Ace
Satin
Presswerk

And how well the NKS mappings leads to in-the-box workflow when _designing_ patches.

Only Diva (and Repro-1) that has them so far (officially), and Komplete Kontrol doesn't do effects (yet)

Although I made unofficial templates for all the synths I primarily use them in Kore.

Oh I see. Thanks, that really punctures the NKS tires! Screw that.

Not necessarily - u-he plan to add the rest eventually and in the meantime my templates work fine as controller templates, you just don't get the full list of presets (unless you save them yourself).

I strongly suspect NI will add effects to version 2 of Komplete.
