Hi folks...I am new to Tracktion, using T6. I would like to use the Sampler plug in as a MIDI drum module. I use an original Trigger Finger to input my MIDI data, I have experience with this using Pro Tools but I like working in Tracktion....I just can't get things right yet. So I thought I'd ask for any tips!

You can use T6 sampler for drums and use a trigger finger .... It's real basic meaning no velocity , round robin , layers , etc etc.. just single samples per a note ... There is a cheap $50 plugin called One Small Clue Poise that works better for what you want to do imho ... It's layed out like a Trigger Finger/ mpc and there are YouTube videos on how to use it. For single loaded samples T6 sampler is fine too ... There should be some YouTube videos for that as well as an old Tracktion3 or 4 user manual PDF floating around the web ... Use Google to find this stuff ...

Thanks my friends! I'll look at these videos.
I am using an original Trigger Finger to send MIDI to Tracktion. I am experiencing issues which are making things much more difficult for me- the Trigger Finger frequently loses its MIDI connection to the computer (USB port). I use this device on my MAC with Pro Tools quite often and it works perfectly. Things are erratic in Tracktion, with some drum samples not responding to MIDI signals, if I restart the program things are fine and after a while drum voices drop off- it's always the same ones- or the whole device is no longer recognized. it's so erratic, it's driving me nuts.
