Now, I'm not going to claim that anything else is going to come close to full integration between Tracktion and the Mackie Control when it arrives (looking forward to it very much myself!) but if you're interested in checking something out in the interim, I'd appreciate some feedback on this beta I've just put online:
http://www.unlinked.org/cubic/
It allows you to emulate the keyboard from the Mackie Control, so you can drive the keyboard shortcuts in Tracktion. There's a simple Tracktion template included in the package.
Any questions/feedback, let me know.
Cheers,
Steve.

Sorry - my error, I should have made it clearer, this is Windows-only software.

Im saving up to get Mackie Control. My navigation is very quick around Trackton as it is so getting the Makie will make me even quicker
One of the trackton controls is "scrub mode" I cant find the key combo for it (f10 was un assigned). How are you doing this?

Sorry, my bad. Cut and paste error from the Wavelab documentation. I don't think there's a scrub function in Tracktion.

You can do what you describe glurgle, but it's not a conventional scrub mode (i.e. one where the play head stops and you can play backward or forward from that point by dragging/shuttling).
Because there isn't a specific scrub mode in Tracktion, there isn't a specific scrub mode in my support for it
You can move the play head and scrub while you're playing using the jog wheel on the Mackie though (if you work in that manner).

In theory, someone could string together a set of workarounds to get a shuttle to scrub, all triggered by a message from the shuttle knob.
I'm not a programmer, though, so I won't elaborate-- but it'd be possible.

You can certainly trigger (say) a start, move cursor left, stop sequence from one control to simulate scrub left, but it doesn't really come close to the real thing, it's just not fine grained enough.
PM me if you've got any specific ideas though Lunch Money.
Cheers,
Steve.
