My problem is that when I try to record audio, on the "vocals Recorder" the Mono/Left Direct Input
and the Right Direct Input only give me the choice of "None" on the
pull-down menus. It's not going to record if it just says "None" there.
In the YouTube instructional videos, it doesn't say "None" there. :) On the YouTube instructional video, it says "IN" or "IN(R)" , not "None." It doesn't show where it got
"IN" or "IN(R)" from. :)

If you can answer the question above adaquately, I'll get in touch with you. MuLab has some potential, but as of right now, they need more customer support! :)

What computer are you using: Windows or Mac? Which audio device do you use? If you're on Windows, you do need to use an ASIO driver. If you have a specific audio device (eg via USB) most probably it will have an ASIO driver. If you're using the onboard audio device, you'll need ASIO4All.

I am using Windows. I have Windows Media Player. I have RealTek High Definition Audio. I downloaded ASIO: very complex and lengthy instructions. Can't follow them. . :)

Let's see it in perspective. A new user with two threads and one post in another topic about the same thing (on of them already deleted I think, the Mick Jagger one?), stating that it's a ridiculously hard program where users need a phd to use it and that support sucks, etc. etc. calling it "MuleLab".. Seems a bit "trollish" to me too.

If I'm wrong, please excuse me. :)

I have no idea what instructions you're talking about, but to install it, you dont need to do anything other than run the .exe

+1

I indeed deleted the other topic as it was pure unsound bashing.

Just warning for genuine folks around here who will actually take their time and patience to help him, he approached me privately (before I even posted in this thread) and did nothing than asked bunch of "legit" questions (and of course avoided answering on any of my questions and when I reverse questioned his own troll hooks, but just continued trolling spree), trolled me a little and after few more attempts, saw his other writing over here and here we are, he call's me she and yeah.....and stop sending me PM's. :tu:

He got answer immediately anyways by Jo and he was around here like few hours after that (in which time our correspondence occurred) and never bothered to dignify this thread with an answer, but instead went on hunting for PM's victims and posting crap all over the place.

Nielzie please remove the insult. Insults are not allowed on this forum, even when it's tempting cause others go low, try to stay high and constructive yourself. Thx.

Lock this thread and let's move on, it took more than it should anyways.

So, if I download Asio, all I have to do is click "exe," and it will make MuLab work? I only ask because you have over 24,000 posts, so I figure you would probably know. Thank you.
