That Drum Heaven 2 with 12 sample packs of Drums for $17.95 looks very interesting. 3gb+ of content. I could use some drum samples. Thoughts?

Wow that's a no brainer, if there was an option to get Dune 1 for that price I would go for it, although why I'm not sure if there would be any point, I love Dune 2 so much that I'd just like to have it. I do have the Magware version though.

Out of interest where is the upgrade price listed, in your account?

Personally, I fail to see what's interesting about it. I tried to get people to talk about it in the other thread but I didn't get any feedback. The videos that I've seen are very uninspiring in terms of sound. IMO, I think that there are much better freeware/magware synths. I think that it looks very modern, but that's about it.

I could be wrong here, perhaps I'm really missing something, but it strikes me as a two oscillator VA with an undistinctive filter and fairly bland presets.

Helm, on the other hand, now that's interesting, looks similarly modern, and it's free.

LennarDigital Sylenth1 40% off.

We're nearing the end of 2016, Christmas is coming and we feel like sharing!

From the 21st until the 31st of December, we will be offering 40% discount on Sylenth1!

To activate the discount, just visit our webstore and enter the coupon code XMAS2016 during the order process.

Happy Holidays and a Merry Christmas!!
I have to give credit where credit is due. I was giving Lennar a hard time for years about not giving decent sales on Sylenth, but it's nice to finally see them do right by the market/customer. I already bought mine last year, but it's very cool to see them giving appreciation back and opening up the sale longer this year for those who don't own it yet. Nice to see!!!

Just some thoughts on the Sonivox Companion Strings:

First off it is stable (at least on Windows 7 64 bit) and loads quickly from an SSD drive. The effects feature an impulse based reverb which does sound good, a delay which is in milliseconds etc. You can relocate the sample library to another drive and link to it via the preferences in the plugin. The library itself has numerous presets, some contain multiple key-switches. The highlights to me are the contra bass and low cello sounds which have a nice bite to them.

It isn't the most expressive library that you'll find but I can tell you before I had Native Instruments Libraries, Philharmonic 2 or my subscription to East West Composer Cloud, I'd be happy with it for sure if I had paid under a hundred for it and at a buck it is an easy buy.

Some people dismiss it based on the age of the sample library and the give away price. Well from where I sit it is far from garbage and a very generous offer from a vendor who is hoping to generate further interest in their plugins.
